Pushpa 2 Movie Review: Allu Arjun - Sukumar's previous film 'Pushpa' registered a sensational success. Sukumar's story .. Allu Arjun's style .. Devi Sri's songs played a major role in the success of that film. 'Pushpa 2' is a sequel to such a film. Let's see how this film, which has hit the theaters today, is doing.
Pushpa 2 Movie Story:
Pushparaj (Allu Arjun) rises to the top in red sandalwood smuggling. On one hand, he is happily married to Srivalli (Rashmika), and on the other hand, he is determined to take his smuggling activities to the international level. However, the dissatisfaction with his surname continues to haunt him. Shekhawat (Fahad Fazil) is determined to catch him along with the evidence and avenge the insult he has been subjected to. On the other hand, Mangalam Seenu (Sunil) is waiting to regain the syndicate they lost to Pushparaj.
In this context, Pushparaj decides to take a photo with the Chief Minister (Aadukalam Naren) to make up for Srivalli's loss. He goes to the Chief Minister along with MP Siddappa (Rao Ramesh). The Chief Minister thanks Pushparaj for giving him a large amount of party funds but says 'no' to taking a photo with him. He insults him by saying that he cannot take a photo with a smuggler.
Pushparaj gets upset when the Chief Minister does not give him a chance to take a photo. He takes a photo with Siddappa on the spot. He tells him that he will make him the Chief Minister. Siddappa says that a large amount of money will be needed for that. Pushparaj thinks that he should move the red sandalwood logs that he has been hiding till then to other countries. What will he do for that? Will Shekhawat catch him red-handed? Will Mangalam Srinu's attempt to take over the syndicate from Pushparaj succeed? That is the rest of the story.
Pushpa 2 Movie Analysis:
Those who grow up have many enemies. Those who grow up illegally have even more enemies. Sensing the danger lurking from such people, this is the story of a red sandalwood smuggler named Pushparaj who rushes towards achieving what he wants. Sukumar has prepared this story as a continuation of the first part that came out earlier.
The hero is unhappy about his birth and surname. He has a feeling that his children will not be able to escape from that blame. Also, he gets into a situation where he rules politics to satisfy his wife's affection. On the other hand, he has to run his syndicate while avoiding Shekhawat. On the other hand, he has to keep an eye on Mangalam Seenu's movements. The way Sukumar has crafted the story by tightening the hero's character from so many angles is good.
How will the hero get out of these dangers? How will he achieve what he wants? The way he has run his story amidst such suspenseful situations seems interesting. How he has given a romantic touch with comedy at the same time between Srivalli and Pushparaj scores high marks from the audience. Pushparaj's introduction scene .. deciding to make Siddappa the Chief Minister .. transporting red sandalwood in lorries along the river .. Jatara scene .. saving the wealth of his younger sister can be said to be the highlight of this film.
Actors Performance:
Allu Arjun is completely immersed in his role. He is hooked on the action .. emotion scenes. Especially the action .. emotion .. dance with the look of 'Matangi' Ammavari' shown simultaneously in 'Jatara' stands as a measure of his talent. Srivalli's performance as his wife also impresses the audience. Fahadh's performance as Shekavat, who tries to hurt Pushparaj from time to time and destroys him, is impressive. Jagapathi Babu .. Rao Ramesh .. Aadukalam Naren's roles are not given much importance. Sunil .. Anasuya's roles are also seen in this part only nominally.
It can be said that the camera work of Miroslav Cuba Brojek has become the main strength of this film. The way he has shot the forest background .. action scenes .. night effect scenes .. songs does not leave the audience unmoved. Devi Sri Prasad's songs are catchy enough for the mass audience. And the background music provided by him along with Sam CS takes the film to the next level. Naveen Nooli's editing also gets good marks.
Srikanth Vissa's dialogues also seem appropriate to the context. Fights composed by Peter Hein .. Dragon Prakash .. are applaudable. Mythri's production values .. Sukumar's story - screenplay .. Devisri's music .. Bunny's acting .. photography can be said to be the main strengths of this film. It must be said that this film will not disappoint the fans who have been waiting for the sequel of that film for a long time after 'Pushpa'.
