Game Changer Movie Review: After being teased for a long time as unpredictable, the 'Game Changer' finally hit the theaters. There is trust in this film made by Shankar with a huge budget. There is distrust. Since Indian 2 disappeared, negative publicity has started for this film. However, with the trailer's release, they were able to create buzz again and turn it positive.

This film is crucial for Shankar as a director, Dil Raju as a producer, and Ram Charan as a solo hero after a gap. With that, everyone's attention is on this film. How is the film so far? What is the story, did Shankar come back with a bang and give a hit, and is the film really unpredictable? Let's see things like this in the review.

Game Changer Movie Story:

Ram Nandan (Ram Charan) steps into his hometown Vizag as a collector. This IAS officer, who lives by ethics and honesty, has too much passion. As soon as he takes on duty, he takes on the duty of taking an iron fist against the corrupt. Naturally, the minister Bobbili Mopidevi (S.J. Surya), who is immersed in corruption, does not like it. Mopidevi wants to remove the IAS Ram Nandan, who is always getting in the way of his every work.

Mopidevi is so evil that she even raises her father, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Bobbili Satyamurthy (Srikanth), for power. However, Satyamurthy, who has completely understood his son, unexpectedly announced Ram Nandan as his successor and the CM of the state. No one in the party likes it. Most importantly, Mopidevi does not like it. With that, Ram Nandan is prevented from becoming the CM and becomes the CM himself by making a twist. But Ram Nandan is a lesser man.

He also gives a twist to Mopidevi. From there, a face-to-face war begins between the two. Everyone knows who will win this battle between an IAS officer and a corrupt politician. But how Ram Nandan will win is the key. How did that happen, and who is Ram Nandan? What is his flashback? Why did Satyamurthy suddenly declare Ram Nandan as the CM? Also, to know what is the relationship between Ram Nandan and Appanna (Ram Charan), you have to watch the movie.

Game Changer Movie Analysis:

Director Shankar has been building his career from the beginning with political dramas. He also makes sure that there is some social message in every film he makes. That is what has made him a special director. This time, a straight film in Telugu, with Ram Charan, the expectations are sky high. He knows that. However, his stories have been going off the rails for the past few years. They are not interesting.

The story of this film is also predictable. No matter what the story is, if the screenplay is interesting, there will be no problem. But in this film, both the story and the narration are very plot-driven. They have been designed according to the formula. Especially in the first half, the hero has nothing to face. He does not get into complications. Since he is very passive, he does not feel anything. There is no interest in the story except watching with grandiose making.

When it comes to the second half, this is the same formula as the story between a minister and an IAS. We do not see any unexpected twists anywhere. Also, the elements that give high are very limited. In such big films, the elements that give high are the priority. People are waiting for them. They have been missed. Shankar's films like Ekokekadu and Sivaji come to mind again and again.

Where Shankar's mark is seen well in the film, is in the visuals and in the episode that comes in the second half. The emotions seen in Shankar's films are also not seen in this. The story moves along as it should, but they cannot raise enough emotions to go into our hearts and make us feel that this is our story, and the hero should win. What happened to the stranger, the gentleman, the only one, the magic of the past?

Game Changer Movie Actors Performance:

Ram Charan was able to discover the actor by finding a role that could show variations. Kiara Advani has nothing to say. She comes and goes in the songs. Anjali got a good role as Parvathy. Her makeup is also different. SJ Surya as Minister Mopidevi .. Nani showed his universal form once again after Saturday Nadi. Srikanth was surprised by presenting a different look. Jayaram, Samudrakhani, Rajiv Kanakala are just okay. Sunil's side-angle role is good. Brahmanandam's guest appearance. Prithvi and Raghubabhu are there if they are there. If they are not there, they are not there. Such characters.

Technically:

A director like Shankar's film lacks technical standards. Cinematographer Thiru has given stunning visuals. Shankar makes every scene look grander with his mark. Thaman's background score gets better marks than his songs. The song "Jaragandi, Raa Maccha" got a good response. Nana Hairana was not included in the film. The editor rushed through it without any lag. However, the lag and routine in the content itself became a problem. The dialogues exploded in some places. Especially the dialogues written for the villain SJ Surya are good. Dil Raju's production values are not lacking.

Pluses

Songs, grander visuals

Scenes that brought out the actor in Ram Charan

Appanna episode

Minuses

A story that seems old, and a story that is more elaborated accordingly

Scenes between Kiara Advani and Charan

Emotions are not able to be cultivated at a level befitting this huge film

Final Thought

This film once again shows how difficult it is for a director like Shankar not to find another writer like Sujatha. If the script is bad, no matter how hard one tries, the game will only last for a short while. Miracles will not happen until it is changed.
